Last week, Commissioner White attended the 53rd Asia Pacific Privacy Authorities (APPA) Forum - and the first virtual version of the event - as an invited Observer.
Hosted by Singapore's Personal Data Protection Commission, the event featured speakers from the Asia-Pacific region, including North America and South America. Commissioners discussed recent trends related to the COVID-19 pandemic, biometrics, artificial intelligence, and international cooperation, along with general updates of member activities and other reports from around the globe.
